2. Service
ExactGIF converts supported customer-supplied video into downloadable GIF files. A successful result is a structurally valid GIF at or below the customer-selected byte ceiling. Unsupported or infeasible requests fail honestly and do not count as successful finished GIFs.
The initial paid beta supports H.264/AVC MP4, MOV, M4V, and 3GP sources up to 95 MB through the initial direct-upload path. The service is delivered electronically; no physical product is provided.
3. Account and proof
An account requires a confirmed email address. The one-time proof studio is limited to one compatible source and ends after 30 absolute minutes or eight successful finished GIFs, whichever occurs first. The proof does not reset through deletion, recreation, or ordinary return visits.
Customers must secure their credentials and may not transfer, resell, automate-abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer for abuse, or use the service for unlawful content or activity. ExactGIF may suspend an account to protect the service, customers, or provider systems.
4. Paid-beta offers
Flex Pack costs $4.99 USD once. It supplies 10 uploads and 100 successful finished GIFs, creates no subscription, never renews, and may be purchased again. Separate Flex Packs stack. Unused Flex Pack usage does not expire while the customer's ExactGIF account and the service remain available.
Monthly Pro costs $19.99 USD per month. Each successfully paid monthly period supplies a separate grant of 100 uploads and 1,000 successful finished GIFs usable only during that paid period. It renews monthly until canceled. Unused monthly allowance does not roll into a later period.
Year Pass costs $179.99 USD once. It supplies 2,400 uploads and 24,000 successful finished GIFs for 12 months beginning when the purchase is fulfilled. It does not automatically renew. Separate Year Pass purchases remain separate grants and each retains its own 12-month term.
Rejected or unsupported uploads, canceled work, infeasible requests, and verified ExactGIF system failures consume neither an upload nor a finished GIF. An accepted upload reserves its first successful finished GIF. Additional successful versions consume the remaining finished-GIF allowance.
When more than one grant is usable, ExactGIF applies usage in this order: Monthly Pro, then Year Pass, then Flex Pack, with the earliest-ending eligible grant used first within a class. One purchase never silently overwrites or erases another grant.
5. Checkout, tax, and fulfillment
Stripe hosts Checkout and stores payment details. ExactGIF does not store raw card numbers. The final amount, currency, offer, and any tax actually charged must appear in Stripe Checkout before payment. ExactGIF will not add a charge after Checkout without a new affirmative purchase.
A browser redirect never grants usage. Only a signature-verified, idempotently processed Stripe event and an atomic ExactGIF transaction create a paid entitlement. A paid transaction is not complete until the purchased usage is visible and usable in the customer's account.
6. Refunds, deletion, and shutdown
The separately published Refund and Cancellation Policy controls refunds and reversals. Account deletion blocks new work, removes customer media and active sessions, and deletes or de-identifies account data except narrowly retained billing, security, fraud-prevention, and legal records. Customers should request any eligible refund before deleting their account.
If ExactGIF permanently shuts down, it will provide advance notice when reasonably possible and apply the published shutdown-refund rule to remaining paid value. Service shutdown never erases the historical transaction and usage ledger.
7. Availability and changes
The paid beta may have interruptions and hard resource limits. ExactGIF may change future availability or offers, but will not silently alter the price, term, or included usage of an already purchased grant. Material policy changes are published with a new version and do not retroactively remove non-waivable rights.
8. Warranty and liability boundary
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ExactGIF is provided on an “as available” basis and is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. ExactGIF's aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the amount the customer paid to ExactGIF during the preceding 12 months, except where applicable law forbids that limit. These terms do not waive non-waivable consumer rights.
9. Governing law
Georgia law governs these terms without displacing mandatory consumer law that applies to the customer. Customers should first contact support@exactgif.com so ExactGIF can investigate and resolve a problem.
