1. Renewal and cancellation
Flex Pack and Year Pass are one-time purchases. They have no subscription to cancel and ExactGIF will not automatically charge either offer again.
Monthly Pro renews each month until canceled. A customer may cancel at any time through the Stripe-hosted billing portal or by emailing support@exactgif.com from the account address. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and does not ordinarily end the already-paid period early. Unused monthly allowance expires when that paid period ends and does not roll over.
2. Refund eligibility
Flex Pack purchases are final and non-refundable, including unused allowances.
A customer may request a full refund for a Year Pass or the first Monthly Pro payment within 14 calendar days of purchase only if the grant created by that payment has produced zero successful finished GIFs. A Monthly Pro renewal may be refunded if requested within seven calendar days of the renewal only if its renewed-period grant has produced zero successful finished GIFs. The first successful finished GIF makes that payment ineligible for a refund under this policy. The request must come from the account email and identify the purchase or billing period. Applicable law may provide broader rights.
3. Failure, duplicate, and unauthorized charges
ExactGIF will correct a duplicate charge, a charge confirmed as unauthorized, or a payment for which ExactGIF never grants the purchased usage. These are charge corrections, not refunds for unused Flex Pack allowances.
For Monthly Pro and Year Pass only, ExactGIF may provide a full refund for a verified ExactGIF system failure that prevents the purchased offer from functioning and is not cured within 72 hours after a complete support report. The affected grant must have produced zero successful finished GIFs.
If Stripe shows a successful payment but the ExactGIF confirmation page did not load, contact support@exactgif.com. ExactGIF checks Stripe and the ExactGIF account to determine whether the purchased usage was added. A failed confirmation page alone does not mean the payment failed or that a refund is due.
4. Used purchases
Flex Pack is non-refundable. A Monthly Pro or Year Pass payment is no longer refundable under this policy after its grant produces one successful finished GIF. ExactGIF does not offer partial or prorated refunds during the initial public beta. Non-waivable legal rights still apply.
5. Entitlement effect
A newly opened dispute pauses the unused entitlement attributable to that exact payment or monthly period while the dispute is active. A verified full refund, reversal, or lost dispute removes that unused entitlement. Prior usage and financial history remain append-only. A refund or dispute must not remove unrelated packs, passes, paid periods, or other account value. If a dispute is won or withdrawn and funds are reinstated, ExactGIF restores the affected grant only for its original remaining allowance and original term. ExactGIF fails closed if it cannot identify the exact payment and entitlement.
6. Account deletion
Account deletion does not create a new refund right. A customer who may qualify should contact support@exactgif.com before deletion. Once deletion begins, ExactGIF blocks new Checkout and work, removes active sessions and customer media, and applies the separately published retention rules.
7. Permanent service shutdown
If ExactGIF permanently ends the paid service, it will provide at least 30 days' notice when reasonably possible. A customer may request a full refund of an affected Monthly Pro or Year Pass payment during that notice period only if its grant has produced zero successful finished GIFs. Flex Pack remains non-refundable. ExactGIF does not calculate automatic proportional refunds during the initial public beta. Non-waivable legal rights still apply.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@exactgif.com from the account address. Include the approximate purchase date and the problem; never email card numbers, passwords, or authentication links. ExactGIF aims to acknowledge billing requests within two business days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method, and the bank or card network controls when the credit appears.
